THE GOSPEL OF LUKE

The author's name does not appear in the book, but all evidence points to Luke as the author. In addition to the book (the Gospel of Luke), he also wrote the book (Acts of the Apostles). He was a physician and disciple of the apostle Paul. Luke was probably Greek by birth. His medical knowledge comes from Greek culture. Although Luke acknowledges the validity of the other gospels, he wanted to personally visit the witnesses who testified to the teachings and life of Jesus. His intention was to confirm, that is, to strengthen the authority of the other gospels, in order to provide written evidence for the communities founded during Paul’s missionary journeys. (The Gospel of Luke) which will be the authority of truth for future generations that Luke will not live to see.
